We offer a family friendly environment for you to get away and relax in.  With a travel cot and high chair available (requested at time of booking) we suit the very young to the very old. There is a ramp entrance to the property with a slight lip as you come over the threshold but apart from that we are all on one level throughout.  We have a covered area that can be used for storage if needed.  We provide a set of plastice knives forks spoons, cups, bowl and plates that can be used for children or taken on a picnic.  The TV has all the freeview channels on, it also has a DVD player and USB port. We do supply a few DVDs and books.

We are a pet friendly establishment, but do request that this is by arrangement at the time of booking.  Please do be aware we are located on a main A road and not fully secure. There is a gate but small animals maybe able to get under it.  

We have a grass track that can be used to walk / excercise your dogs on leads. If you wish to exercise dogs off lead: we have a fenced field that dogs can run free in. Please be aware that this field is also used by the Doggie Den activity centre so they may be using it.  The Doggie Den can offer experience and training in all aspects of dog training and activities including Hoopers, Scent work, Agility, Obedience and general training.  Call Cath on 07929 045861 to book your doggie activity.

Use the cottage as a base to explore the surrounding area, we have great links to the Brecon Becons, Symmonds Yat, Cotswolds, Malvern Hills, Wye Valley area of outstanding natural beauty and the Black mountains. We have a covered area to store the equipment you have, an area to wash off any mud you may have collected on your adventures.  You can also participate in guided walks with Simon at Wye Valley Walks, he can cater for all abiliities and requirements 

On-site we have a track that can be used for walking dogs or taking a leisurely stroll. We have horses onsite to admire, but please do not feed them!  We offer free range eggs from our resuced ex-caged hens and other seasonal produce.
